Paul Bunyan once stumbled upon a young moose calf with the widest buffalo-plaid colored antlers anyone had ever seen! His name was Elmer, and he was more trouble than he was worth. His great plaid horns knocked over tents, sleds, and trees whenever he wandered camp. The cook cursed him daily for scraping the roof off the cookhouse. The men watched out for Elmer’s colorful horns so that they wouldn’t get speared by accident!
